School
Promotional DVDs
|
Why Use a DVD for School PromotionSchool DVDs are often employed as an accompaniment to your school's prospectus rather than a stand-alone corporate style DVD. The DVD showcases the school through images, while the prospectus fills in the exact details. If you are promoting your school through overseas agents, a free DVD is a valuable component in a complete promotional package. At Trade Fairs, image focussed content is extremely
eye catching. The marketing or development officer can play the DVD on
a loop to catch the attention of potential parents before chatting to
them and providing more information. How to Get More Value From a Video Production PackageThe production shoot or shoots should be planned around any existing events which can't be staged - ie a sports carnival or passing out parade etc. Most other school activities can be set up much more effectively without having to shoot live events. So, a four day shoot might involve 3 days shooting various activities and at least part of the 4th day capturing the event. Plan any TVC re-edits before production begins. Again, it is cost effective to shoot any other website videos at the same time. For instance, you may wish to record a message from the principal or some generic educational tips videos. We also usually run a school video production special at either the beginning or end of the school year. How Much Does A School Promotional Video Production Cost? It's tricky to answer definitively because there are
so many variables. Over the past 5 years, all budgets for school promotional
DVD packages have fallen between $9 thousand and $55 thousand. The majority
have fallen between $15 thousand and $30 thousand. Single website videos start at about $2750 for a simple 3 minute piece. Heathfilm always prepares a fixed quote
and contracts for delivery of the complete project with defined production
milestones. |
